“Cozy Bed and Breakfast with great staff”

They were very friendly and the room was clean. It's very cozy and feels like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are small and not fancy, but clean and pleasant. Amazing location. Great staff.

“Great experience”

We had a great time at Hotel Durant. Brian, Sam and Rhonda were all a great help. The atmosphere is quite warm and intimate. The wine, cheese and cookies by the fireplace each night really brought the guests together and we got to know several of them well. We had our 2 year old with us, and he enjoyed playing with 2 other young children there as well. The bus for skiing was just around the corner from the hotel, and we were dropped off right in front of the hotel after we were done for the day. If you are looking for a hotel where you can be greeted by name, this is the place to go! The morning breakfast was also wonderful.

“Nice, convenient and comfortable”

The room is only big enough for one or, maybe, two people. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Good location - within walking distance to everything. Parking was close and available. The price would be outrageous anywhere but Aspen or NY.

“Decent Hotel for Price and Location”

Pros: -The price of this hotel is usually a great rate for the prime area in Aspen. -Hotel staff is very nice and accommodating -Free Breakfast with donuts, bagels, fruit, cereal, and coffee was very nice -Can't beat free cookies put out regularly -Environmental efforts - towel saving signs; soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers instead Cons: -The room was shockingly small -Shower was pretty horrid with poor water pressure and low/bad shower head -Room was in a noisy spot near common area

“Good value & location, friendly staff”

The rooms are on the small side, and the furnishings are very old. They do a good job of maintaining everything, and the rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room is small, not euro small but by american standards tiny. Other than that staff, location, even a small free breakfast and free wifi were great. Cannot beat the price

“Great Locations”

At first I was disappointed due to the size of the room and age of the hotel based on the very high Aspen price. I quickly got over the this disappointment. The hotel was very clean and amazingly quiet. The staff was very nice. There was a free continental breakfast and an afternoon Apres Ski that was very nice. The hotel location was very good, just a few blocks from Aspen Mountain Gondola and the entire town of Aspen. We walked to dinner every night. The free bus to Snowmass and other ski locations was great. There was a pick up location just around the corner and the drop off was right in front of the hotel.
