“Don't expect facilities!”

Unless you have a car this is not the place to stay, buses in and out of chamonix run infrequently and finish at around 7.30, unless you are willing to wait around and catch the bus at Midnight. Dinner and wait staff at the hotel are nice and friendly, however I like options when I travel. Dinner anywhere else but at the hotel is very difficult. Facilities in the room are minimal do not expect to be able to make youself a cup of tea and you will need to kneel to take a shower cause it is attached at waist height on the wall. Plus be warned that the Wifi network only works from the lower two levels of the hotel. Overall it was a dissapointment and made our trip less enjoyable.
