Front desk person was friendly, knowledgeable. Hotel atmosphere warm, friendly. Parking convenient. Location convenient to every place we wanted to go. Complimentary breakfast very nice. Will definitely stay there again.

“Excellent Stay in Ann Arbor”
Friendly check in. Convenient location to U of Michigan hospital. Onsite washer/dryer appreciated as my toiletries were broken in flight and leaked onto my suit for my interview. Dry cleaning available as well.
“Clean, comfortable and convenient!”
This hotel is a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The rooms were very clean. The housekeeping staff were very efficient! Many times our room was clean before we returned from having breakfast in the lobby! The breakfast was very good for being a continental breakfast buffet. There were plenty of choices both hot and cold. The cinnamon rolls were delicious! The staff was friendly and professional. They were definitely on top of things. They were always working and getting things done. The location was convenient. It was right off the freeway which made it easy to get anywhere. It was only about 20 mins or so from the airport. It is also located across the parking lot from a large shopping mall which was nice for dining choices. We really like Holiday Inn Express and will continue to stay at their hotels.

“Good value”
The HI Express was a good value for your money. I initially looked at the Marriott Courtyard, but the HI Express was $50/night cheaper than the nearby Courtyard at the time of my booking. Room was clean and my king size bed was very comfortable. I actually had some good night sleeps! The shower heads were very nice - better than mine at home. Only problem was the Internet service was a little spotty. I don't know if it was the connection or access to the DNS servers, but I frequently had problems reaching a site. Eventually I did get access. Not a big deal if you are just surfing, but I was trying to get some work done between meetings. The pool looked nice, but I did not make use of it or the nearby fitness center.
