The hotel location was near to our visit site. The hotel was comfortable and clean at an attractive price.

“Ann Arbor's Best Kept Secret”

We really enjoyed our stay. We went for a wedding and the host hotel was double the price of Candelwood and did not have the amenties that this hotel offered. Having children ones knows the importance of having a place to store snacks, juice, milk, etc... and Candlewood offered a refrigerator in each room. Additionally the staff was very helpful especially Ryan, I made a mistake and booked our third night for a month later and he worked with us and Expedia to fix the problem. It was also great to have the mall least than five minutes away. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AT CANDLEWOOD AGAIN.

“New Hotel with kitchenette”

The facility was spotless, staff very helpful, good restaurants next door, and a shopping mall across the street. Close to the University Hospital.

“Great weekend, great place.”

We went for the Michigan/Western football game. They allowed us to check in early and gave us a great suite. The air was quiet and the bedroom was dark and no noise from outside at all. The bed was one of the best we have slept in away from home. We felt very safe and the area is very nice. A great mall and good restaurants all around. Everyone was friendly and professional. We plan go go back there for our next game overnightweekend.

“Very comfortable”

I went to Ann Arbor Michigan for an NCAA basketball game. This hotel was close by to the stadium, very affordable, close to many shops, restaurants, highway, etc. It is too bad I didn't get to stay longer but if I did this hotel would have been the best place to stay as there is a kitchenette, laundry facilities, etc.

“Great Hotel at Great Price”

We stayed here for the night on our way to Niagara Falls, Canada. Not too far from strip mall and meijer if you have to shop for something you forgot to bring along. Univ of Michigan is just a few miles away. Hotel room was clean and comfortable.

“Convenient Ann Arbor Hotel”

Nice play to stay in Ann Arbor. It is near the stadium and has all the amenities one needs when on vacation, if not all the amenities that one wants.

“It is what I thought it was”

Solid price & great location for seeing the UM campus and getting to the Big House. That is what I was looking for and that is what I got. Staff was nice, though the condition of the hotel was average - but it isn't so bad it ruins the experience. They also have a room (open 24 hours) stocked w/ food & drinks which was pretty cool.

“Average hotel, good amenities, great location”

The hotel is average--not terrible, not the Hilton. It was a great value for its services. The hotel staff was curteous, and the room has a kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable overall. My only compliants were that: (1) the hallways smelled a little funny (but I just reasoned that this is an extended stay hotel, so it'll be like an apartment building); (2) the air conditioning was very moist and dewy, but I just opened the window and it helped; and (3) I wish someone would've been at the front desk all of the time, not in certain blocks. The best part is the surrounding area. A great Whole Foods is right across the street, and it's within 3-9 blocks from U of Michigan (depending where you want to go). I loved Ann Arbor! (and this is from a native Ohio resident) It seemed like everyone was outside running/walking or biking on the wide sidewalks. The downtown area was very cool too, with great pubs and places to eat. I will definitely be back to Ann Arbor and I'll most likely stay at the Candlewood Suites.

“Close to Ann Arbor”

The hotel was a good deal for the price. Our only complaint was the noisy heat/air system and the noisy refrigerator. We turned off the heat so we could sleep.
