Beautiful views, comfortable albeit small rooms. Great service from staff at the front desk, and shuttle bus to and from town a God send!

Very pleased with the accomdation - service was excellent, staff were friendly, the hotel was modern, and immaculate. We booked a double superior room which had an amazing view, was a good size and to our suprise included a spa in the bathroom. The breakfast each morning was very good and we would highly recommend dinner in the restaurant which was the best meal we had during our week stay on the Amalfi Coast. Only issue was having to walk up the hill, but worth it to stay in such a lovely hotel with such good views. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

“Beautiful Positano hotel”

My husband and I just spent a few days at Villa Franca in Positano, and absolutely loved the hotel. It's quite small, but super clean and the staff was very attentive. Breakfast was ok, but we had a fabulous dinner at the hotel restaurant. Would definitely go back to this hotel if in Positano again.

“Love Positano!”

The hotel was an ideal location near the top of Positano. The reception was very pleasant. Our room was outstanding with a balcony and a gorgeous view of the town and beach area below us. The living area was beautiful, quaint and very comfortable. Even the large bathroom was excellent, clean and very nice. The head waiter in the restaurant was extremely gracious, friendly and helpful! He alone would keep us coming back! The food was excellent and a wonderful dining experience. The only disappointment was the 15 euro parking per day. A minor correction on previous comments is the bus from downtown to the top of Positano in no longer free. It is now 1.5 euro per person and well worth it! Do take the steps going down and enjoy the shops along the way....love it!

fantastic location, lovely hotel. All staff caring and attententive-especially the waiters! It took us 30 years to return to Positano, I do hope we will return sooner than that! It was our Wedding Anniversary, 30th, and what a special experience.

“Lovely Family Run Hotel”

A lovely hotel - rooms small but cute and clean. Views and rooftop pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shuttle Bus service provided is fantastic and will save you a fortune in taxi fares. Would absolutely recommend this lovely hotel in what is a lovely town.

“Staff needs to be replaced”

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Franca for five nights in early April 2010. The accomodations are quite nice, although our room was small and did not have the view that the marketing materials had promised. The hotel provided a convenient shuttle to the retail/beach area that we used quite frequently. We ate breakfast every morning and one dinner in the hotel dining room...the breakfast was good and the dinner was actually one of the best meals we had during our stay. My one complaint is the hotel staff. With the exception of the dining room waitstaff, who were very helpful and courteous, I cannot recall making any other trip where the hotel staff was as rude and unresponsive as the staff at this establishment. Even a request as simple as an AM wakeup call was ignored. Replace the staff and this would be a hotel I could recommend wholeheartedly,

“Good for a night but not longer”

Hotel feels like a hostel. The only reason to stay there is if you need quick access to Termini Train Station in the morning.
