“Three days in possa”

This motel is very good the services very welcoming and the room is great and simple. Just missing a fridge in the room to keep some cool drinks in summer!

“Great gem for a good price.”

The Hotel is a family run gem with fantastic views of Positano, the beach, and the Med beyond from most rooms. The owner and staff are accommodating in that anything that is not quite right is set right without further thought. Although parking is a challenge as with most, if not all hotels on the Amalfi coast, you car is taken care of for you without delay and returned whenever you request it. Parking is 21 euros a day and well worth it.

“Great view from top floor”

Hotel Reginella can be reached by shuttle bus at top of hill when arriving in Positano. We stayed on the top floor which had four twin beds. It had an outside balcony with a gorgeous view of Positano, the Duomo, and the beach area. Room was pretty basic with no carpets or phone,a small tv hung from the ceiling, but bathroom was large and clean. Continental breakfast served 'til 11:00 was fine, and hotel staff was friendly. To get down to the beach, shops, and restaurants, there was easy access by taking the steps in front of hotel.

“Low frills”

This hotel was in a great location in Positano, but that's about it. We were supposed to be in a triple room with a partial ocean view, but you literally had to stand on your tiptoes to look over the roof of the building across the street to see even the tiniest sliver of ocean. We were disappointed. Our room (on the first floor) was also right next to the breakfast room and the stairs, so we heard banging and loud guests all night. We did not sleep well. While the hotel provided shampoo, it was in a plastic pouch like you get ketchup in from a McDonalds, sort of tacky. The towels were harsh and not comfortable. The staff was pleasant enough but did not make up for the bad room that we got.
