“Best hotel of our trip!”
Hotel Margherita was the best three star hotel we stayed in. It was wonderful. The family that runs it are so nice and helpful. They will take you in to town and pick you up any time you want. They are very eager to please and to make your stay a pleasant one. The room was very nice and clean. Large bathroom. They have laundry service - you just leave your dirty clothes in a bag in the morning and the clothes are returned the next day, folded, on your bed. The restaurant is very good. Absolutely wonderful view. There's a little grocery store right down the street with a wonderful wine cellar and deli. Perfect for getting bread, meat and cheese and a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony one night. You will not be sorry you stayed here. Easy to get to Positano or Amalfi, either by bus or water taxi. Hotel staff will take you to the bus stop or the beach to catch the water taxi.
“Great deal on Amalfo Coast”
Unbelivable views, friendly service, clean, no problems at all, recommend highly
“"Keep this hotel a secret"”
My wife and I have travelled to many parts of Europe but we have never experienced the level of service extended by the owners and staff at the Hotel Margherita in Praiano. The entire stay was wonderful, in particular the rooftop garden restaurant which offered such magnificent views of the Amalfi Coast whist enjoying a first class meal.
“You wont stay in a better 3* than this!!!”
After having to postpone our trip due to the volcanic ash cloud we were able to rebook with the help of expedia and the very helpful people at Hotel Margherita. When we arrived we found the service to be well above what you would expect from a 3 star Hotel and throughout the stay were constantly surprised by the facilities available and the service from all the staff. This is a beautiful part of the world and Hotel Margherita is an ideal place to stay to see it. From the food in the restaurant to the amazing roof terrace and pool this place delivers well above its rating and we would love to go back and do it all again very soon.
“We'll be back!”
We had a wonderful stay here - the staff were really friendly and helpful, the situation is perfect for visiting the towns around the coast - the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The rooms are lovely, the pool is great, breakfasts are fab as are evening meals and the sun terrace is sheer luxury - we can't wait to go back.
“So much more than we expected”
I would like to thank the family and staff of Hotel Gargherita for a wonderful stay. We did not opt for a sea view. The lemon grove view comes with a small planted strech of garden. Oposite our room was the entrance to a loungin area with a sea view, giving us the best of both worlds. We ate in the hotel twice taking advantage of both meanu's available. Both meals were excelent. As this is a family run establisment the atmosphere is warm and friendly. And the service is personal, you only have to ask.
“Awesomd”
Owners are very accommodating, service is 5 star! =) A true Italian experience. The rooftop views are breathtaking.
“A Weekend Break on the Amalfi Coast”
We found the Hotel Magherita a very special place to stay! The staff 'T' shirts said "Charm & Hospitality" and that only covers the front end!! Andrea & Suela are hosts of great charm & wonderful hospitality - no issue is a problem to them and they approach your needs with warmth and generosity. A lift to the bus stop at 9.00am is not a problem - and the lift back from the bus stop at 10.30pm is dealt with in the same generous manner! Their restaurant is intimate but always good value for money. The house wine is excellent and the service is warm & discreet. Francesco provided great service with style & charm along with perfect English! The views from the terraces are wonderful - use the large terrace for sunbathing but the pool is a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. Use the local services even if you take your car - frequent & easy to use!
“Amazing place”
Hotel was very comfortable. Amazing views from decks and swimming pool. Hotels meals excellent and the Italian food all homemade. Staff very friendly and most helpful.
“Amalfi coast great stay!”
We decided to stay in praino instead of Positano,Amalfi or Ravelo, small town able to walk to a beautiful rocky beach( if you are in good shape) the hotel can always pick you back from the beach. We need it at least two more days but we were able to visit litlle towns enjoy the beach at our deck from the Pirate restaurant ( 8 e per person give you an umbrella , chaise lounges and access for swimming from their decks) our friiens stay in near by Hotel Holiday, it was $ 30 cheaper but the service and quality of Marguerita was worth the extra dollars. Beautiful!!!!! Area
