“Touch of class”
If you like minimalism, this is the hotel for you. Colour scheme French grey and white. Enjoy
“Great hotel, clean, great breakfast.”
The hotel is clean has a great breakfast the only down fall is they are very new. No money exchange a long walk from Lagos. Still not bad a taxi ride into town about 4 euros. The bar staff and breakfast staf are great, however their on site resturants are very pricey. Your best bet is to go into down town to Lagos for dinner / lunch and get some great food and wine it is much more affordable. However definitly take advantage of their breakfast it is great.

“Aiming for top, not quite there yet”
New hotel, a little outside main strip of Lagos. Outstanding minimalist build and decore which could be warmed up a little with more color in artworks, etc. Excellent food for both breakfast and dinner, but atmosphere not best, especially at night, because of low guest numbers. Lack of information on both hotel and local area, e.g. no literature in suite about hotel services or local attractions. Some basics missing, e.g. only one glass in suite for two (rectified), no mini bar service, charges for spa. All in all, however, we really enjoyed our stay - great pools, excellent weather and pleasant staff. Will definitely return when next in Lagos.
“Style over substance”
- Even if you've reserved a double room, you're placed in a twin. You have to demand to be moved. - Hotel service rediculously slow! After ordering, drinks took 30 mins to arrive, dinner,45 minutes then there was a 30 minute wait for the bill. - food in the restaurant is not great yet fairly expensive. - The Hotel was understaffed when we were there which meant that staff were not alert to guests' needs - The mini-bar was empty. - No tv menu Which wouldn't be so bad if there weren't two different channel 1s, 2s etc up to 7! - you have to pay €10 per day for the indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym. - the shop has never been open. Yet it is referred to in the hotel brochure. - The children's playground is a room with some toys and a tv screen in it. though in fariness it was the only place with a communal TV (No TV in Bar/lounge area?!) - €10 charge for Room Service ON TOP of your actual order Yellow Lagos is NOT offering a 5 star service. Families we spoke to complained of the same problems. We found the stay far more stressful as the hotel did not deliver. The list of basics that are missed is long, but this can be fixed, should the management be bothered enough to take a genuine interest in customer feedback. It has been noted that the management have not responsded to any of the previous feedback given here.
