“Great place to stay”

Just spent 6 days at the Arado Apartmentos De Albufeira. While the outside colour scheme may not be to everyone's taste, the complex is clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nothing flash but are a decent size and well furnished. The kitchens are well laid out with all the amenities you'll need. A free minibus can take you to the local supermarkets (and collect you!) so you don't have to walk with heavy shopping! The lovely little marina is just across the road and the old town of Albufeira is a gentle and pleasant 20 minute walk away. Albufeira is a great place to stay if you are after a quite relaxing break, however, I suspect it changes character in the high season! Overall, I highly recommend these apartments.

“Thouroughly recommended!”

This is probably the friendliest, cleanest, most spacious resort I have ever stayed in. I went there for a few days over my birthday, and had a fantastic time with my friends. The 3 of us stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, which was huge (on 2 floors) and was very well equipped. We had 4 bathrooms between the 3 of us! It was cleaned throughly every day. It could easily have slept 6-7 people in comfort. The swimming pool and surrounds were lovely and kept clean, and the gardens were very well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the hotel manager. The resort would suit all ages, and the pool will be a delight for children (several little pools all of varying depths). It was a 25 minute walk into the old town, which we all enjoyed after an evening out. For the less energetic, I believe there are shuttle buses during the day time, but the taxis were only 5-6 Euro each time, with a big taxi rank in the town. Next time I will stay longer and explore more. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The apartments were huge, comfortable and a pleasure to be in. The service of the hotel staff was first class - I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

“Nice apartment, shame about the very uncomfortable bed”

The studio apartment was a decent size, well maintained and the kitchen had all appliances fitted. The only negative thing was the bed was extremely uncomfortable because of the paper thin mattress.

“Almost Perfect”

we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment,which was extremely well equipped.There was a full kitchen,three bathrooms,four(count them!) balconies,air con, in fact, everything was just about perfect.Just one thing stops me from giving a 5/5, and that was the beds,they are very hard and quite uncomfortable.I realise these might suit a lot people,but it just spoiled my stay slightly,hence 4/5.

“Pleasant but wouldn't recommend it”

I have to be honest, the hotel was clean, friendly and pleasant and I cannot say a bad word about it but I wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend to a friend. The complex is huge and has a Butlins feel about it. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The maids came in everyday and made the bed but that appeared to be all they did. The key / key chain for the room was ridiculous - though the door had three dead bolt so you felt as though your things were safe whilst you were out. The Marina area is very nice to sit in, in the morning whilst enjoying a coffee.
