“Enjoyable visit”
Stayed in the suites for a week in mid September 2011. At this time of the year the weather is ideal- high 20s. Quinta is kept in pristine condition it really is a quality area. Ideally you would need to be a big golf fan to get the most out of it. The beach is 5 minutes away by car or you could have very pleasant walks around the lagoons but golf is the number one activity. The suite was very comfortable, bedroom,two bathrooms (really useful )a lounge area plus kitchenette. Flat screen TVs in lounge area and bedroom - invaluable for the rugby world cup. Good pool area that catered for adults and children. Adequate buffet breakfast with poolside snacks available at lunchtime that but we eventually prepared a simple lunch in our kitchette and lunched on our balcony.
“Fine for non-golfers”
As this hotel is at the heart of Algarve golfing country we thought we may feel a bit out of place as neither of us play. We were wrong - the hotel caters for all and the standard is first class throughout.
“we'll be back”
only stayed one night en route to our final destination but really impressed, particularly at the Expedia price! Lovely venue, spacious accommodation & accommodating staff although I can understand comments made by others about the restaurant. The evening we were there on offer was an Italian buffet which was very average - not good value at €25 - but it was lovely sitting out by the pool. Would be much better if an a la carte menu had been on offer. Breakfast buffet good & plentiful
“November in the Algarve”
Beautiful hotel, spacious apartment, nice pools, food good, service good, generally very well kept. Only gripes are the beds have very firm mattresses so may be a problem. Also they do need to pay attention to maintenance of sliding doors- we had difficulty making ours lock as the catch was loose.
