“We will return!”
THe Hotel was delightful, the staff helpful and fiendly yet respectful. We were inspired by a critical review which suggested that the hotel was very quiet. It is but that is a big plus for us. The sea view was splendid and the proximity to the relatively small sandy beaches and coves yet another BIG plus. All in all, highly recommended
“An excellent stay, will return”
I recently stayed at the hotel Maritur and had an excellent time. The hotel was quiet which was great but it didnt feel like it was coming to the end of the season. All staff were kind, helpful and friendly. I stayed half board and this worked out really well. Lots of choice and variety on buffet style breakfast and evening meal. We were able to arrange a trip to Zoo Marine via the hotel which was great and also taxi transfers which worked out well. I would definitely go back, at the same time of year as there was a very relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for the perfect R&R holiday.
“would definitely go again”
Firtly the hotel doesn't have a shuttle service to/from the airport but can organise a transfer if you contact them directly. This is a lovely small hotel, perfect if you are looking for total relaxation and rest. Ideal for couples. The rooms are large and all have balconies and baths, a sea view cost a few extra euros per night but was worth it.The restaurant provides a good continental breakfast and simple well cooked foods for lunch and dinner if required. Everything was clean and the staff very helpful,most spoke perfect english.
“Hidden Gem”
This hotel is away from the bustle but ideally located to access amenities by bus or taxi hotel menu was restricted and mediocre but good restaurants nearby. Overall excellent value for money

hotel very good ,just need a fridge in bedroom,luckily we went when it wasnot a busy time,could do with more buses into albufreira,
“Great Hotel, excellent location”
Great hotel, got all you need for a trip to algarve, we found 2 excellent beaches right behind hotel, 5 minutes stroll. Good breakfast in morning not 5 star but enough to fill you up. rooms are big and clean get a sea view. worth extra 10 euro. 4 euro taxi ride into albefira

The hotel located in a quiet area but walking distance of beach, bars, supermarket and restaurants. Very helpful staff
“Fantastic!”
I think we made the best choice when we arranged our reservation with the Best Western Hotel Maritur. However our room wasn't ready before 1-2pm, we could store our bags and use the facilities which were excellent. The reception team was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the food was more than what we expected (well cooked, large variety of dishes). The Hotel is well located, close to the Sao Rafael Beach which was really charming and peaceful. In addition you won't be disappointed if you choose this Hotel.
“lovely”
Really lovely hotel, fab views, close to lovely beaches, but not sure if they would be too busy in high season, and the sea did'nt look safe for swimming/kids. You need a car as its too far to walk to the nearest town. Pool is quite small and the indoor pool is heated but still pretty chilly.
“Great, but with some drawbacks”
We booked this hotel on the strength of the recommendations on Expedia. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival and enjoyed our stay. However, there were some drawbacks and things which weren't ideal. The location of the hotel is minutes (quite literally) from some excellent beaches and when we went Sep 29 to Oct 6th they were quiet. The Hotel suffers from being somewhat surrounded by villas and we found that many locals (both Brits and Portuguese) had dogs which would bark loudly late at night and early in the morning. The hotel also does not have the best soundproofing and noises from other rooms would penetrate and be quite loud in the evenings. That said, the overall experience of the hotel was one of friendly and helpful staff, good quality food and drink (although we were glad that we didn't book half board) and the facilities of two outdoor pools and one indoor one was nice even though we went to the very local beaches. The rooms would benefit from a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities though. We would recommend this hotel and were very glad that we stayed there rather than in the accommodation in Central Albufeira which had a very pub/club feel. For ourselves we would probably opt for a SC Villa in the same area if we went again, but that said we liked the hotel and the facilities.
