“Just right”

I was pleased with my stay at Hotel Atismar. The hotel and room were just what we wanted and the location was great. We didn't spend much time in the hotel - why would you when you could be on the beach? (2 mins walk away) If all you want is a reasonably-priced place to base yourself it's just right. Breakfast was quite good, decent food but poor coffee. We didn't eat any other meals in the hotel but checking the dinner options most days showed almost no vegetarian options. We would stay there again in the future.

“Good Value 3* hotel”

Good value hotel opposite Quarteira's famous Wednesday market. very good value for money. very impressed with the cleaniness of both room and commual parts. A couple of small points which let it down, no mirror over dressing table in bedroom, no waste bin in bedroom only very small one in bathroom, no remote for telly which was high on wall, breakfast very continental ie only cereal, roll, toast with jam cheese meat cucumber & tomatoe - no fruit.

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach and restaurants and not too far from the airport. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Was lucky enough to get a room with a seaview, which was clean and tidy. Very cheap, although buffet breakfast not that good. Would definately recommend a stay at this hotel.

overall we were satisfied with the hotel,with only two exceptions,one no tea making facilities in the room and two having to catch an early flight back we asked if we could have a cup of tea before we left and was refused,bear in mind we paid for five nights b/b we never received anything at all on our final morning.having paid for a breakfast we never received we came away feeling very disgruntled.we were thinking of claiming back from the hotel for the breakfast we didn't get!!! overall the staff were pleasent but not very friendly,other than bruno he was a very hard working guy and pleasent

“Great Value and Great Location”

Just back after a 3 night stay in hotel Atismar. A couple of minutes walk to the beautiful beach and the lovely promenade. Nice restaurants nearby also and only a 5 minute taxi ride to Vilamoura. There is a very nice walk along by the sea which takes you through the old fishing village and on to the Marina in neighbouring Vilamoura. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. All in all great value for money.

Hotel Astimar is a clean, well located and friendly hotel. The staff were always happy to talk to you and tell you the best places to go. I think the best feature about this hotel is that it is a 5 minute walk to the beach which is huge! Try and book a room with a balcony for that extra bit of space.

“Very Good Centrally Located Hotel”

We stayed here for 8 nights and found little to complain about.The 2 girls from London review had clearly done NO research and were looking fot nightlife.We had a 10th floor room with balcony and looked like it had been recently renovated. Breakfast had a lovely selection of rolls and hams and try the hot chocolate if you don't like the coffee.

Basic (no hairdryer,fridge etc.) but adequate and very fairly priced. Ideal location for beach and a variety of restaurants. Breakfast unimaginative but again adequate and plentiful.
