“Great apartment in Alberfeira”
We booked this room just for one night for a party night in Alberfeira. We were staying in the quieter Alvor for the week. For the money we paid the apartment was amazing. It was central, extremely clean and tidy and unbelievably spacious. I would highly recommend it.
“best apartments we have stayed in”
arrived at cerro malpique apartments late at night we were booked into the superior apartment for two,the only downfall was after arriving late at night having to make our way to the apartment block dow.n flight steps out gate and up a hill in the dark to find apartment it is not what you want to hear after a long journey and late at night however the apartment made up for any inconvenience that we felt at the time and it wasn't really that bad.We were pleased with our apartment in fact its's one of the best we have stayed in very spacious and a large balcony you could sunbathe on ...sun loungers provided. The apartments in great location down about 100 steps(not as good coming up)turn right and 5 min walk into old town with plenty to do and suitable for all ages. Iwould go back to these apartments very enjoyable holiday.
“Spacious apartment with a sea view (just)”
Really enjoyed staying at the Cerro Malpique. It was spacious and clean with a big balcony overlooking the pool. The distance to the old town was really good (5 minute walk at most) down a steep set of stairs and hill. Walk back took a bit longer but was still fine, given that it was really very close. Supermarket within easy walking distance, which was useful as well as a range of fast food places to choose from. Enjoyed the little bus/train journey to the new town. Airport transfers from hotel much cheaper than a private taxi.
“Nice Hotel Apartments Great value”
These Hotel Apartments are located five minute walk away from the old town and less than a 10 minutes cab ride to the strip. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. The pools are nice and were never overly busy. I stayed in a supirior apartment which had all the mod cons required and was very spacsos with a very generously sized balcony. The only down side was I had the odd door handle come off in my hand and the sun loungers were a bit old and worn. Overall this is a great value for money place to be for a short late summer break.
“Hotel split into two”
Reception only in one part so if your in block B you have to walk over a hill to get to reception and for the cost of a iron they only seem to have one it seems a bit silly. Sham something so cheap could be so annoying other than that great apartment

Area:
Albufeira, Portugal: The former little white fishing village of Albufeira, now densely developed beneath a sea of apartments and mid-rise blocks, is the regions most popular resort. The pretty Old Town is wall-to-wall restaurants and bars, though some local establishments and residential areas still remain. Its picture-postcard Fishermans Beach, with spectacular ochre cliffs and rock stacks, remains an iconic, albeit often very crowded, Algarve sight.
