“An oasis in the midst of the chaos”
The good: This hotel proved to be an excellent choice. It was an oasis of peacefulness and cleanliness in the otherwise chaotic and often trashy Albufeira (I was not impressed at all with the town and I will probably never be back again). The hotel has a very interesting architecture; breakfast was good, but what stands out the most in this hotel is the staff: always friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The bad: Like almost everywhere else in Portugal, wi-fi internet is not available for free or at a moderate price, even in this hotel that is so swanky and modern. It costs 3 Euros per hour and you can only buy 1 hour at a time. Ridiculous. I think that if hotels are charging for wi-fi, they might was well charge extra for electricity and running water. The bathrooms are nice, but I was surprised that the shampoo and shower gel were not replaced when they saw that I had used more than half. Finally, I must say that sometimes the smell of the restaurant can be felt all over the place, even in the 4th floor where I was. In conclusion: If I am ever forced to go back to Albufeira, I will definitely stay here again.
“Nevermore”
It's not because the photos let us think it's a eco-friendly hotel surrounded by Nature (in reality it's a hotel surrounded by crowded condominium). It's not because there's cooking odors in the looby and doubtful decor. But the bathroom was almost submerged for two consecutive days with no repair. We payed for wi- fi internet that didn't work in the room and it seemed we were not speaking portuguese with the staff. Nevermore.

“Very good hotel”
Very good hotel, located close to everything in Albufeira. A bit noisy though, even when you're in your hotel room. The hotel has an open core, on 4 floors, and you can hear the pianist playing down at the bottom of the hotel until 11 p.m. at night. Not so good if you want to go to bed early!!

“very cool and very well priced hotel”
We are spending the first of 4 nights at this hotel. We chose Albufeira as it is in the middle of the Algarve and we would have shorter access to other towns like Faro and Lagos. This hotel is an 8 euro ride from the train station. It is in a busy part of town, but set back so that it is quiet. The pine forest view is beautiful, even from the first floor. The hotel design is very funky with a beautiful atrium. It is roomy, totally modern and very clean. The room is large. Tons of restaurants nearby and a grocery store 1 minute away. Busses are close by.
