“great town”
It was a good experience. Alcala is a beatiful little town and the hotel is clean, comfortable and offers good service. Just be aware that the internet can be an issue. Other than that, everything else was great!
“Overall a very good experience”
We stayed at this hotel as our daughter was studying abroad at the local university. This is what Spain is all about that you wont find in the big cities. Local atmosphere and people are great but you better brush up on your Spanish as English is spoken rarely. Enjoy the local tapas that come free with one beverage at most of the local spots.
“A wonderful experience.”
My sister and I went to Spain to visit my daughter who is studying at the University in Alcala. We stayed for one week in March. The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and the housekeepping staff did a wonderful job each day. We had a little problem understanding the heating and cooling system but we did regulate the temperature by opening and closing the window. Our room faced the from of the hotel which featured a nice little courtyard, however the first few nights of our stay many people gathered in the courtyard and stayed and talked to early hours of the morning. By Wednesday or Thursday night this seemed to stop. There was a nice little restaurant in the hotel which we did ot take advantage of but daily menues were posted in Spanish and in English. My sister and I do not speak Spanish. Some of the front desk people did speak some Spanish and we did not meet any of the restaurant staff that could speak English. My daughter had to do most of the talking whenever we were inquiring about something important. In general the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. There was also an elevator available after long days of sight seeing. The downtown area of Alcala had many places to eat and shop and to simply stroll around in. We had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Spain for this reason. The bus and train transportation was also close and easily accessible.

Great central location in Alacalá. Very clean and spacious room.
“Convenient to University of Alcala”
Hotel was clean and efficient in the European style. Location was outstanding for my concerns in that it was adjacent to the University of Alcala. Also, a short walk from the train station that connects to Madrid.
