Fiesta Americana Acapulco Villas

"Hotel fiesta Americano is a beautiful hotel. I have stayed there many times before hurricane Otis and this was the first time after the remodel is beautiful the rooms and the beds. Everything was wonderful but a couple things that were not good: The chairs down by the pools were taken nearly every day by people saving them with towels very early and not actually showing up to use them until later in the afternoon- I know this happens at a lot of resorts but I really wish hotels would not allow this. One other thing I really dislike is how they send you to the timeshare folks as part of checkin process. They try to get you to make an appt to buy a timeshare - our lady was fine with us saying no and not pushy but why do I even have to go through this when I am just there as a paying hotel guest? Please stop doing this. Aside from those 2 fairly minor complaints the hotel is clean, beautiful and in the perfect location with each room having an ocean view. Pools are gorgeous! Beach is nice right in front of hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"remembering sitting across the bay in a different hotel asking my self what placed was that i looked into it i a did a reservation, not knowing much about it when we got there we were amazed and fall in love instantly with this placed its like you let yourself go into it and forget about everything the staff amazing !!!! can't wait to go back"

"I didn't like the fact that one of two elevators was always breaking down,we got stuck inside one time. we were afraid to use them didn't know when they would stop working , had to pay extra for parking, also had to pay for umbrellas service the hotel had service but it was extra where is the savings the gym was an embarrassment to the hotel the equipment wasn't working properly ,the only seat was ripped from the seat,the weights were from the 70s old and rusted it seems that they install them and forgot about them I will never recommend this hotel"

"Got food poisoning, hotel is not as advertised-it’s old and not well maintained, staff was rude, check out time was not communicated properly, room was missing all towels at arrival, unable to sleep due to loud music outside of room until 6am every night, air conditioner was not working properly and made loud noise, room toilet leaking water on floor, used eyelash stuck on mirror in the room’s bathroom, rude towel pick-up/return staff, food was not good and caused me to have food poisoning and had to go to the doctor for antibiotics, pools were overcrowded and dirty, activities and amenities not well explained, did not feel overall welcome at all…horrible experience all together."
