“You will be impressed!!”

One-to-One is a fabulous secret in Abu Dhabi. Everything about this hotel is novel and outstanding. I highly recommend it. I have stayed there twice in the past month and both times have been exceptional.

“Very Impressed”

Our room was gorgeous and immaculate, every possible detail was perfect. Everyone was very friendly and service in general was wonderful. We had the lunch buffet at Resto and it was by far the most gourmet and delicious buffet I've ever had, I'd go back just for the food. Considering the amazing deal we got on Expedia this was easily the best hotel decision I've made in a very long time.

“It is hard to get to but nice inside”

The hotel is hard to find as for the construction and being off the road a little far but the room was nice. The check in was ok but the check in lobby was a little hard to find as it was half way down the street. The room was very comfortable and the internet was fixed as soon as I called the maintence. I don't mind walking to get to the restaurants but when it is 120 degrees F it maybe uncomfortable for some as they are a good walk outside away. At check out I carried my own bags to my car and was not helped at all. My car was parked in a snady lot with no proper exit just a high curb that could damage a car.

“The best combination of ambiance and location in Abu Dhabi”

This doesn't look and feel like a hotel. It's a group of townhouses arranged in rows, with courtyards between them. There’s extensive use of natural stone and understated greenery, and the ambiance is pleasant. The rooms are clean, elegant and comfortable, and arranged in clusters of nine, on three floors, so that you can easily walk up to your room, even if it is on the top floor. Each cluster has a rooftop swimming pool, sundeck and patio, and on the ground floor a sitting area with newspapers and magazines. The maintenance is imperfect. I was awakened by a rooftop airconditioner noisily switching on and off, and had to call staff to shut it down. My shower had flimsy curtains, and it seemed impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. At one point a ceiling lamp fell inexplicably from its socket.. Service is generally good and unobtrusive. The business centre is excellent, with free Internet 24/7. On weekends though, it can be invaded by the noisy children of day visitors, who think it's a video-game parlour. Breakfast has a good selection including a buffet and fresh-cooked egg dishes. The outlet has limited space for non-smokers. The radio is always on at an annoying level, in both volume and content.

Area recommendations

For a business trip, I would say that the OneToOne Hotel has the perfect location. It has easy access to downtown but it's sufficiently far to be quiet and free of congestion. If you have a car, there is no problem parking in the palm grove opposite the hotel. If not, there always taxis outside. There is no shopping nearby; if you need to shop, the best option is Lulu Hypermarket in Al Wahda Mall - take a taxi, or be prepared to deal with congested access to the parking.

When to go

Abu Dhabi has good weather from about October to March. In January the weather is perfect.

“Well appointed and fantastic breakfast”

Stayed here on business in Feb 2009. Taxi from Dubai struggled to find it but all taxi's in Abu Dhabi now seem to know it and there were plemty of signs around, locals are still discovering it. The layout of the hotel is a little weird, as if they converted apartments to a hotel, but that didn't affect/bother me. The nearby construction sites weren't a bother either. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and if anything mine was a little too large in lyout for the furniture it had in it, but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they served some of the best pastries I have tasted. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly and I enjoyed my experience and would stay there again.
