“Can't wait to go back”

Stayed there for 1 week, great hotel, friendly staff, lovely beach resort, room extremely clean, swimming pool was lovely, great family friendly hotel. Would defiantly go again. The only down side as it’s a new hotel there working on new buildings and road work around the area, but you can’t hear anything anyway they expect to finish in 6months, otherwise fantastic place, great use of facility.

“Excellence in Comfort/Amenities”

The Khalidiya Palace was an establishement specifically catered/design to provide thier guests the utmost excellence in comfort/amenities. The beach area was well manicured and having the pool (one of the largest in Abu Dhabi) within a few steps was extremely convenient. The temperature cooled pool provided relief from the heat and warm waters of the Arabian Gulf; made for very pleasant swims. The gym area compared to a well equipped gym back in the US only to have a view of the pool& beach; trainer services well available at the request of the guest. The food was delicious and highly recommend the seafood selection off the menu; the Arabian Gulf jumbo prawns were a tasty surprise! The Preimer Room w/ a balcony (high floor) was spacious whcih offered an exquisite view of the inlet and beyond. Be advised this hotel is alcolhol free but one may bring/consume beverages in their room; just be mindful/respectful. There is also construction activity in the area which wasn't much of a disturbance; rather, was interesting to watch ongoing construction of a skyscraper. This hotel without a doubt receives "two thumbs up" in my book of travels...excellent customer service, courteous staff, tasty room service, clean, manicured interior/exterior, and above all else provides a unique experience to all who stay! One of the best stays in Abu Dhabi!

“Usual 5 Star standard as expected of a Rotana hotel.”

The hotel is new and is of the true 5 star standard as expected of a Rotana hotel. The staff were efficient, friendly and courteous, it is so nice to receive excellent service from people who are happy in service without looking for a tip. The restaurant was excellent, breakfast is expensive. We arrived at the end of Ramadan and got a very good rate.

“Great hotel with private beach”

This is a really nice hotel with its own private beach and 3 swimming pools. The room is very large. Our room was facing the beach so it was a big plus. Other people's comment about the noise from the jet skis didn't really bother us. Hotel staff is very friendly and always try to accommodate your needs. Couple of minor drawbacks: 1. there is some major road construction right outside the hotel main road, so expect noises and dusts if you room faces that side. 2. the food at the restaurants lacks varieties. We were told by their staff that due to kitchen remodeling in progress, their varieties were limited. But for a 5-star hotel, we expect the food quality to be better.
