“Pleasing but a little noisy”
Everything was great about the hotel - was a little shocked in the night to find out the hotel was close to an active railroad line. A little noisy at times.
“Expected more”
Overall, the hotel was convenient and clean. Facilities were a little outdated with a "plug it in yourself" mini fridge and 80's style restaurant attached to the main office, but we were put off by the fact that we received dated coupons for breakfast and without notice, we found that the hotel restaurant staff took the day off and closed on Sunday, so our meal vouchers were useles and we were left with a few Danishes and bananas that were set out by the receptionists. Our door didn't even work upon arrival. The handle would open without the key card and when we reported it, the maintenance man informed us that the battery had died. While he fixed it without much difficulty, it didn't cater well to our sense of security.
