Rodos Palace Hotel

"We stayed for 3 weeks and had special assistance requirements. The hotel was fantastic in their help and understanding from the outset. The property and their staff are amazing and I would certainly travel back."

"Lovely resort, feels very premium. Staff are very helpful and friendly, the whole place is very clean. However, there were 3 areas the hotel was a bit of a let down. 1. There are many smaller pools with accomodation around them, this is really nice. Rooms immediately on the pool have their own sunbed, then there are additional sunbeds for general use around the rest of the pool. The problem is that if people staying in the rooms with their own sunbeds decide to use the general sunbeds the number of sunbeds for people not staying immediately at the pool are greatly reduced which is a bit frustrating. 2. The all inclusive buffet was very disappointing. The actual food itself was generally good quality however the problem was it was not replenished frequently enough, often they would remove a tray from the buffet and not replace it for at least 15 mins. Food was regularly running out which again was very frustrating and not an issue I have experienced at other all inclusive buffets before. 3. They offer all in lusive room service which is an absolutely fantastic idea. However, the execution was terrible. We ordered a burger, focaccia and sandwich at lunch time and the burger and chips arrived cold. I would definitely return to this hotel despite these areas that could be improved. We visited early in the season so I would imagine some of the food issues would not exist during high season."

"This is not an all-inclusive resort, it is semi-inclusive. You are limited to two restaurants although there are seven of them and once you use up your reservations you must eat at the buffet restaurant. Further, room service is not included (unless you count the water and few cans of soft drinks that they may refill daily). The Greek staff is generally rude and not willing to help, that being said the foreigners are much friendlier and assist whenever you ask. Overall, the resort was okay not the best but not bad. The spa services were nice and the two restaurants we were allowed to try had okay food essentially what you would expect in a hotel restaurant."

"The pool, the property was beautiful. Service everywhere was impeccable, as was the food. You can’t change this, but sitting on your balcony(1513) there is no view, you have to stand. Ironing board was challenging as it was impossible to balance. Other than these 2 observations we would return and/or recommend it to our friends."

"Had a great stay at Dionysos. Rooms and some general areas are a little dated but always very clean and tidy. Breakfast had a great selection everyday, the bar and Gyros hut were great and not expensive. Pool area seems to have enough sunbeds, we always found 2 at all times of the day, pool is also great. Taxi into Rhodes was 10 euro, or bus was 2.50 each. Overall a 4 star rating"
