"The location is great but the hotel seems to rely on its faded glory while not being maintained up to the standards one would expect for the price. The hallways look shabby and the room seemed only superficially renovated. There was hair from a previous customer stuck to the sides of the shower stall, and the pillowcase showed signs of old age. That said, we slept comfortably, and with greater investment in upkeep it could be a charming place to stay. As it is, though, we were disappointed."
