What you can expect

  • Meet your English-speaking Tai Chi master at Zijingshan Metro Station Exit E in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou, 10 minutes before the start. Walk together to a suitable public practice area in Zijingshan Park for a two-hour beginner class with a local martial-arts master. Begin with gentle warm-up movements, Tai Chi breathing, posture, balance, and weight shifting. Learn beginner-friendly Tai Chi forms and practise with guidance. Take a short bottled-water break and photo opportunity, then try introductory Kung Fu stances, hand techniques, and movements. End by combining the new movements with individual corrections and closing photos. The English-speaking Tai Chi master helps you follow the instruction. The practice area may move a short distance within the park because of weather, crowds, or local management.
