  • Experience one of Zanzibar’s most memorable ocean adventures on a full-day Safari Blue excursion through the beautiful Menai Bay. Sail aboard a traditional Zanzibar dhow, explore crystal-clear waters, discover colourful marine life, relax on a stunning sandbank, and enjoy a delicious Swahili seafood lunch.

    Your adventure begins with a boat ride from the Fumba area, heading into the Menai Bay Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and, depending on sea and weather conditions, the opportunity to spot dolphins in their natural environment.

    Stop at a beautiful sandbank where you can swim, relax, take photos, and enjoy the turquoise waters surrounding you. Continue with a guided snorkelling experience where you can explore Zanzibar’s coral reefs and see colourful tropical fish and other marine life. Snorkelling equipment is provided.
    When the tide and conditions are suitable, visit a peaceful mangrove lagoon where you can swim in the calm, shallow waters surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

    After the water activities, enjoy a freshly prepared Swahili seafood BBQ lunch, featuring delicious local dishes and tropical fruits. Take your time to relax, enjoy the beach atmosphere, and experience the warm hospitality of Zanzibar.
    The day continues with more sailing and opportunities to swim, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of the Indian Ocean before returning to Fumba.
