What you can expect

  • 3 Days, 2 Nights at Mikumi National Park

    Day 1
    Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam to Mikumi.

    Pickup from your hotel at 5:30 AM and transfer to the Zanzibar ferry terminal. Depart with Azam Fast Ferry or Zan Fast Ferry at 7:00 AM for Dar es Salaam. Arrive at 9:00 AM and take the SGR train towards Mikumi National Park for two hours. At 11:15 or 11:30 AM, stop for lunch in Doma village for one hour. After lunch, continue for one hour to Mikumi village, where you will visit the Maasai village and boma. After the visit, head to the lodge to rest overnight.

    DAY 2
    Full day game driving at mikumi national park.

    After an early breakfast, depart at 6:00 AM for a full-day game drive to see wildlife. Stop for lunch at 12:30 PM, then continue the game drive briefly before returning to the lodge for the night.

    DAY 3
    depart from mikumi to Zanzibar via dar-es-salam

    After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to zanzibar via dar es salaam

    NOTE: book this tour at least five days before the trip
