Discover the Qin and Han History Museum, a modern museum dedicated to showcasing Qin and Han civilisation. Explore the “One World, One Family: The Qin and Han Civilisation Thematic Exhibition,” which occupies two floors, covering an area of 3,530 square metres with a 1,194-meter-long exhibition corridor, displaying 732 artefacts.

The exhibition is divided into eight parts, including a prologue hall, units one through six, and an epilogue hall, focusing on the achievements of Qin and Han civilisation in political systems, economic development, and ideological foundations, with a particular emphasis on the establishment of new systems.

The two main thematic exhibitions, “Cities and Tombs” and “Craftsmanship and Beauty,” explore different aspects of ancient civilisation. “Cities and Tombs,” through archaeological discoveries and analysis of four major sites—Yongcheng, Yueyang, Xianyang, and Chang'an—examines the role of capital cities and tombs in the development of Chinese civilisation. “Craftsmanship and Beauty,” on the other hand, showcases the visual world of the Qin and Han periods through sculptures, murals, and other material remains.

Beyond the murals echoes the Tang Dynasty. Wear VR equipment and instantly “dive” into the murals, becoming a history explorer. Stroll through Tang Dynasty city life in a virtual space, and witness first-hand the dynamic scenes brought to life by national treasures like “The Envoys” and “Polo Game.” Multiple viewers can simultaneously walk and interact freely in the virtual environment, experiencing the immersive feeling of “stepping into the painting.”
