With a maximum of five guests, the experience feels personal and welcoming. Solo travellers can comfortably join the group, while friends, colleagues, and conference visitors can enjoy a carefully planned day without worrying about transportation, reservations, or where to go next.

Your day includes a relaxed café stop, lunch at the iconic Bullock’s Bistro, and dinner at Zehabesha or another carefully selected locally owned restaurant showcasing Yellowknife’s diverse flavours.

Bottled water is provided throughout the tour to help guests stay comfortable and refreshed during sightseeing, walking, and travel between attractions.
Enjoy an included lunch at Bullock’s Bistro, one of Yellowknife’s most iconic restaurants, known for fresh fish, generous portions, and its colourful Old Town atmosphere.
Finish the day with dinner at Zehabesha Traditional Ethiopian Restaurant or another carefully selected locally owned restaurant showcasing Yellowknife’s diverse food scene.

Begin with coffee, tea, and a light snack at , Birchwood Coffee Ko, or another locally owned café. This relaxed first stop gives guests time to meet their guide, get comfortable with the small group, and hear an overview of the day before exploring Yellowknife.

Old Town (Pass by)

Old Town is one of Yellowknife’s most distinctive neighbourhoods, with historic buildings, artists’ spaces, floatplanes, houseboats, colourful cabins, waterfront views, and the independent character that shaped the early city.

The Wildcat Cafe (Pass by)

See one of Yellowknife’s best-known historic buildings. The Wildcat Café is recognized by the city as Yellowknife’s oldest historic building and reflects the rough, practical architecture of the early mining settlement. Great Slave Lake

Great Slave Lake and the Houseboats From Old Town, guests can look across Yellowknife Bay and Great Slave Lake toward the colourful houseboats that form one of the city’s most recognizable communities. Bush Pilot's Monument

Bullock's Bistro

Collections include aircraft, mining material, archaeological objects, works of art, and a traditional Dene moose-hide boat. The museum contains more than 75,000 objects, along with extensive photographic, map, and archival collections

Northwest Territories Legislative Building

Located near the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, the Legislative Assembly can be included as an exterior photography stop or a guided interior visit when schedules allow. Guests can learn about the Northwest Territories’ consensus form of government and see the distinctive building where representatives from across the territory meet. Public guided tours may be available on weekdays, but they should not be guaranteed without advance confirmation.

NWT Diamond and Jewellery Centre

Learn how diamonds discovered and mined in the Northwest Territories move from remote northern mines to finished jewellery.
