Day 1: Ulaanbaatar to Khustai National Park to Terelj National Park

Begin your adventure with a morning departure from Ulaanbaatar. Arrive at Khustai National Park and visit the park museum for a briefing on the Takhi wild horse reintroduction project. Drive into the park to spot Przewalski’s horses (Takhi), red deer, or foxes. Enjoy a short winter hike (optional) and savour a picnic or hot lunch at the Khustai camp area or a nearby family ger.

In the afternoon, drive to Terelj National Park, stopping at the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex for panoramic winter views. Continue to Terelj National Park and discover the true luxury of organic living at the Farm Green House. Enjoy meals made with organic vegetables grown in their own greenhouse and spend the night in a heated ger.

Day 2: Terelj National Park to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, visit a nomad family to see how they live. Horse riding for 40 minut to 1 hour. Enjoy lunch at a local camp or family ger. Visit Turtle Rock and the Aryabal Meditation Temple before heading back to Ulaanbaatar.
