    Meet your guide in front of the 7-Eleven Heart-In at JR Wakayama Station Central Gate. After a short introduction, purchase your ticket with your guide and board the Wakayama Electric Railway Kishigawa Line.

    Train ride from Wakayama Station to Kishi Station— 35 minutes

    Train ride from Kishi Station back to Wakayama Station — 35 minutes

    During the train journey, your local guide will introduce the storey of the Wakayama Electric Railway, including how the rural line faced the threat of closure and how Tama, the beloved cat appointed stationmaster in 2007, helped transform it into a popular local attraction.

    At Kishi Station, discover the playful cat-themed station building, meet the current Cat Stationmaster when available, visit Tama Shrine in honour of the original Tama, and take commemorative photos.

    Then, enjoy a relaxing break at Tama Café with one included drink before boarding the train back to Wakayama Station.

    Return train fares between Wakayama and Kishi stations and one drink at Tama Café are included in the tour.
