What you can expect
Departure at 09:00 from Vodice port, or at 09:15 in front of Hotel Olympia.
The cruise begins towards St. Anthony Channel, offering stunning views of the 16th-century St. Nicholas Fortress. Along the way, enjoy a panoramic view of Šibenik and a short stop at a mussel farm to pick up fresh mussels before passing under the Šibenik Bridge.
The journey continues through the Krka River estuary towards Prokljan Lake and further down the impressive canyon to the foot of Skradinski Buk. Arrival and docking at Krka National Park are planned around 11:30.
You will then have free time for sightseeing and enjoying the park’s natural beauty – visit traditional watermills, Skradinski Buk waterfall, the Jaruga hydroelectric power plant, restaurants, souvenir shops, or simply relax in the unique atmosphere of the national park.
Return along the same route, with arrival back in Vodice around 17:00.
Krka National Park is famous for its seven travertine waterfalls, making it one of Croatia’s most remarkable natural wonders. The park covers the most beautiful section of the Krka River and the lower course of the Čikola River, rich in natural, cultural, and historical heritage. Highlights include the Franciscan monastery on Visovac Island and the old watermills, now transformed into small ethnographic museums showcasing traditional wheat milling.
The park’s main attraction is Skradinski Buk, the largest and most famous waterfall on the Krka River, while Roški Slap is the widest waterfall in the park. Beneath Skradinski Buk lies the Jaruga hydroelectric power plant – the second oldest hydroelectric plant in the world and the first in Europe.
