What you can expect

  • Discover Rioja Alavesa wines in the heart of Vitoria-Gasteiz with a guided tasting at the Mercado de Abastos de Vitoria. This experience is perfect if you want to understand wine in a simple, enjoyable way—without needing to be an expert.

Your host will introduce the Eguren Ugarte wine style and guide you through the fundamentals of tasting step by step: how to observe the wine’s colour and brightness, how to recognise aromas, and how to identify flavours and balance on the palate.

Then it’s time for the best part: a complete tasting of four different Eguren Ugarte wines, paired with a delicious selection of cheese or Iberian cured meats.

With a maximum of 8 participants, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and personal atmosphere, with time to ask questions and compare impressions. Whether you’re visiting Vitoria for the first time or you’re a foodie looking for a local plan, this tasting is an easy win.
