Activity itinerary

Steam Clock
  • 1h
Coming up on our right, at the next crossroads, is the Gastown Steam Clock. The clock has steam-powered whistles and a small engine that uses steam to wind the clock. It’s one of only seven working steam clocks in the world! Note: This 8.9-mile-long tour covers the essentials of Vancouver City centre in 2-3 hours.
Gastown
  • 1h
We’re driving through one of Vancouver’s original areas, Gastown. Gastown was the original settlement that became the core of Vancouver. It gets its name from John Deighton, an early settler and saloon owner who earned a reputation as a very talkative barkeep. He talked so much the locals called him “Gassy Jack”!
Victory Square
  • 1h
We’re passing Victory Square on our right. The trees along Pender Street, which we’re about to cross, are the oldest street trees in the city! The city planted them in 1897.
