Train Cemetery
1 Place where we see more than 20 old locomotives and wagons scattered across the icy soil of the plateau, rusty iron… The first railway line in the country was laid there in 1899, which connected Uyuni with Antofagasta and which served to transport minerals such as tin, silver and even gold. The potential of Huanchaca's silver mines meant that the railway soon became the backbone of industrial development.
2 Colchani The town of Colchani 23 km. Uyuni is the stopping point especially where we can see the salt factory, salt craft shops and also crafts based on llama and alpaca fibre, a perfect place where you can shop for souvenirs from the Salar de Uyuni.
3 Salar de Uyuni We enter the largest salt flat in the world Salar De Uyuni, a place where we see the piles of salt or the extraction of salt. 4 Incahuasi Island Perfect place where we take a tour for more than 1 hour to see the ancient Giant Cactus and a panoramic view around the Salar, you can also see the Coral Window. (The visit to this place depends on the rainy season) Afterwards we return to the edge of the Salar and look for a place with water to enjoy the sunset.
