Considered one of the most striking and extreme places in South America and the planet. In the highlands of Bolivia, at 3,656 metres above sea level, there is an impressive sea of ​​salt, the Salar of Uyuni.

During the expedition to Uyuni, get ready to witness breathtaking landscapes. The itinerary can be done in 4 days and 3 nights or in 3 days and 2 nights. In the first case, the return to San Pedro de Atacama is included. As for the 3 days and 2 nights expedition, there is no return to San Pedro.

Located at an altitude of more than 4,850 m, this geyser field is fed by underlying volcanic activity, due to the friction of the American plate with the South Pacific plate. This is manifested by astonishing spectacles, made of mud craters, bubbles and fumaroles with sulfurous vapors under the effect of pressure (and heat: we reached almost 200°C). These hot springs are located in the heart of the Salar de Chalviri, a salt formation populated by flamingos and ducks: the living species of this area have managed to adapt to these hostile climatic conditions, to say the least.
