What you can expect

  • Ushuaia – Martillo Island: Walk Among Penguins & Beagle Channel Cruise

    A unique experience combining a cruise along the Beagle Channel, a visit to Estancia Harberton, and an approximately one-hour guided walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins in their natural habitat.

    During the cruise, we will explore the main highlights of the Beagle Channel, including Bird Island, Sea Lion Island, and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse. From Estancia Harberton, we will take an approximately 15-minute ride by rigid inflatable boat to Martillo Island, where we will enjoy a guided walk among the penguins, accompanied by a specialised guide.

    The tour operates with two departure times:

    8:30 AM Departure (check-in at 8:00 AM): The tour begins with an overland bus transfer to Estancia Harberton, followed by the penguin walk, and concludes with a scenic cruise along the Beagle Channel back to Ushuaia.

    10:30 AM Departure (check-in at 10:00 AM): The tour begins with a cruise along the Beagle Channel, followed by the penguin walk, and concludes with a return to Ushuaia by bus.
