What you can expect

  • This experience is not designed as a shopping tour. Instead, it offers a rare opportunity to meet Balinese artists and craftsmen in the places where their art is still created every day, their family homes and workshops.

You will visit a selection of traditional artists, including wood carvers, mask makers, silver craftsmen, and painters. Rather than viewing finished pieces in galleries or souvenir shops, you will witness the creative process first-hand and learn about the dedication, patience, and cultural values behind each art form.

Balinese art is unique. Every carving, painting, mask, and piece of silverwork carries stories, symbolism, and generations of knowledge passed down within families. By meeting the artists personally, you gain a deeper understanding of the people who keep these traditions alive.

This experience was created to build meaningful connections between visitors and local artisans. In a world where traditional craftsmanship often struggles to compete with mass production, genuine interest and cultural exchange can help inspire artists to continue their work and preserve their heritage for future generations.

While this is not a shopping-focused experience, guests are welcome to purchase artwork if something truly speaks to them. Any purchase directly supports the artists, their families, and the continuation of their craft.

Come not as a shopper, but as a guest. Share conversations, hear personal stories, and discover the human side of Balinese art through the hands of the people who create it.
