Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

Leshan Giant Buddha is known as "the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain". It is the largest cliffside stone carving statue in China and also the tallest ancient stone carved seated Maitreya Buddha statue in the world. Entering from the north gate, you will first see the stone carving of Su Dongpo's character "Buddha", then pass through the mountain gate and Lingyun Temple, and finally reach the river surface at the foot platform of the Buddha. The entire tour process takes about two hours. You can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the confluence of three rivers and the unique scenery of Lingyun plank road. Don't forget to visit Lingbao Pagoda and Guo Moruo Hall to feel the weight of history.

Emeishan

"Only Emei Mountain" takes the most famous sea of clouds of Emei Mountain as the creative element and creates three performance theatres: the "Above the Clouds" situational experience theatre, the "Among the Clouds" garden landscape theatre, and the "Beneath the Clouds" real-life village theatre. The six spaces use different interpretation methods and storey contents to present the thousands of years of Buddhist culture and character images of Emei Mountain to the world.

Baoguo Temple

Baoguo Temple is the largest temple at the entrance to the mountain. With upturned eaves and corners, the simple and elegant Baoguo Temple is a must-see place for pilgrims coming to Mount Emei.

Emei Mountain

The main peak of Mount Emei is 3099 metres above sea level. The precipices such as Yixiantian and Sheshenya are as high as 700-850 metres. The climate in the mountains is diverse and the vegetation is rich. There are more than 3000 kinds of plants in total. There are about 26 temples in the scenic area. The important ones are eight major temples. Buddhist activities are frequent. You can go to the top to overlook the sea of clouds for thousands of miles. At the Golden Summit, you can enjoy the four wonders of sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light and sacred lamp.
