What you can expect

  • Discover the Croatian countryside on a guided hike from Tuheljske Toplice to the Church of the Holy Three Kings in Velika Erpenja. Learn about the history of the region and enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you walk through the countryside.

    Meet your guide in front of Hotel “Well” in Tuheljske Toplice. After a short introduction, learn how to walk with sticks and set off on your hike. Begin with an external tour of the Mihanović Castle and learn about its history.

    Continue along a grassy field path along the Horvatska stream. Upon arrival in the village of Vilanci, begin the ascent through small vineyards with wine lodges and mixed forest to the Church of the Holy Three Kings in Velika Erpenja.

    At the top, near the church, see a memorial area to Mother Croatia, dedicated to Justina pl. Mihanović Petropoljska, mother of Antun Mihanović, poet and author of the Croatian national anthem. After the interpretation and familiarisation with the Memorial area, descend into the valley and return to the starting point.
