What you can expect

  • Lokobe in the Malagasy language means “many colours” and it is precisely the many that this tour will allow you to walk.
    Centuries-old plants, cute lemurs, reptiles and much more… all in an uncontaminated context of evocative beauty.
    Located in the south-east of Nosy Be, the Lokobe forest covers a mountain considered the highest peak on the island and covers an area of 862 hectares.
    Initially a study area for scientists and closed to the public, the reserve has been open to ecotourism since 28 June 2014.
