Mickie will lead you through each stage of the auction, sharing his deep knowledge of Japan’s fish industry, market history, and local food culture. With his many years of observation and experience in Japan's relevant industries, he will also lecture you about the history of the fish market, its offerings, and about the foodie situation surrounding Market.

Or you might be led by Tomoji and Fredy, another nationally-certified guide with over 20 years of experience working or attending foreign guests to Japan.

Tomoji has been working near Tsukiji Outer Market and a stint in New York, who brings the stories of Tokyo’s fish markets to life and loves exploring Japanese and international food culture differences. Fredy Morita is a big snorkeller, and worked for an international foundation for 25 years and guided various fantastic restaurants and other places of interest in Tokyo and surrounding area. He is now fully ready to guide our guests based on those experience and learning from excellent guests.

Get ready for an unforgettable dive into Tokyo’s foodie scene with an expert local guide who know every corner of the market!

You'll be one of the first people to arrive at the auction site at 05:00 and see the brokers checking deep inside the tuna with torches as they assess the quality. Then, witness the famous tuna auction starting at 05:30.

After tuna auction, a sushi breakfast at a highly recommended restaurant. the freshest sushi you have ever eaten!

You'll also tour the old market town of Tsukiji where the auction used to take place — still a vibrant and interesting place where you can visit the Tsukiji External Market (Jogai Ichiba).
