Experience authentic Edomae sushi in the home of a professional sushi instructor, just 7 minutes from Tokyo Station.
Step into a welcoming Japanese home and enjoy an intimate, small-group sushi experience unlike any other.
Your instructor, Satoshi, is a professionally trained sushi chef and assistant instructor at one of Tokyo’s renowned sushi academies. Having taught sushi experiences in cities such as London, Paris, and Shanghai, he offers classes in English, Japanese, and Chinese, making the experience accessible to guests from around the world.
Unlike most sushi classes, you’ll learn to make authentic Edomae sushi using traditional akazu (red vinegar)—a prized ingredient favoured by top sushi chefs for its rich flavour and historical significance. This distinctive ingredient creates the deep, refined taste that defines traditional Edomae sushi.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll prepare approximately 10 pieces of nigiri and one sushi roll, learning professional techniques that you can recreate at home.
More than just a cooking class, this is a cultural experience. In a relaxed, small-group setting, you’ll discover the history of Edomae sushi, Japanese food culture, and the philosophy behind traditional sushi craftsmanship through engaging discussions and interactive learning.
Because class sizes are intentionally kept small, every guest receives personal attention, making it easy to ask questions and enjoy meaningful interaction throughout the experience.
Whether you’re visiting Japan for the first time or you’re a passionate food lover, this experience offers an authentic opportunity to connect with Japanese culture through one of its most iconic culinary traditions.
All ingredients and equipment are provided. Just bring your curiosity—and enjoy the sushi you create!
