What you can expect

Enjoy a unique Japanese calligraphy experience in Tokyo designed to connect with the inner self and traditional Japanese culture. This service is organised by Academia Castilla, a Spanish school with over 40 years of experience in Tokyo (near Shinjuku Station). A Japanese teacher who is an expert in this ancient art will guide you, from the basic fundamentals – posture, brush handling, and ink – to the practice of writing. During the class, you can write a kanji or Japanese character that you like and take home a special souvenir of Japan made by yourself. The teacher will be accompanied by a Spanish-speaking interpreter, so you won't have to worry about the language. At the end of the experience, you'll enjoy green tea and traditional Japanese sweets in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
