What you can expect
At the Tokyo Sumo Festival, you can enjoy authentic sumo cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere while experiencing sumo first-hand.
After watching morning sumo training, learning about winning techniques, and seeing live demonstrations, you’ll have the chance to step into the ring and try sumo yourself against a sumo wrestler.
Please note: Participation is limited and may be determined by lottery if there are many applicants.( but premium seat guests are guaranteed participation.)
After the sumo show, you’ll also get to experience a mikoshi—a traditional portable shrine used in Japanese festivals.
