What you can expect

Begin your adventure with a visit to an ancient winepress carved into a rock cliff, used thousands of years ago by agiobriolites for winemaking – and still functional today. Then, admire beautiful 13th-century frescoes inside a nearby cathedral.

Next, take a 500-meter walk to explore the impressive 14-level Tsutskhvati Cave. Relax in nature, take photos, and enjoy the view of the underground river flowing through the cave.

Visit a bio tea farm, learn about traditional Georgian tea production, and enjoy a tasting of 2 types of tea and local wine, along with a Georgian-style sweet snack table.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a lakefront restaurant, surrounded by nature. Take a brief stop in the town of Tkibuli before starting a 3 km hike to the Tskhrajvari ridge, offering panoramic views of western Georgia. On clear days, you may even spot the Black Sea under the distant clouds.

In the evening, return to Kutaisi.
