Karoline Brunner, the protagonist of this storey, was a church tower keeper until the beginning of the last century. She lived alone in the tower for many years and from up there she could see exactly what was going on down in the city. From her, you will learn more about the life and gossip of the old city's inhabitants.

The walking tour starts at the Holzmarkt, leads to the Protestant Stadtkirche, and from there to Lindenstraße, which divides the city into the Upper and Lower City. Descend into the Lower Town, passing the former stables to Palais Grävenitz, where the mysterious journey ends deep down in the cellar.
