Overview

A 90-minute return hike takes you to the summit of Morro Dois Irmãos, located along Rio’s coastline, marking the boundary between the city’s south and west zones. From the top, enjoy stunning views of iconic beaches like Ipanema, Arpoador, and Pepino, as well as the expansive Tijuca Forest.

Throughout the hike, we’ll pause at key points to photograph Vidigal favela and discuss its rich history. For an added adventure, consider a motorcycle ride through Vidigal to the trailhead, then descend on foot, capturing the vibrant daily life of the favela along the way.
