What you can expect

Begin your Thai cooking adventure at 14:00 PM at MRT Huai Khwang, Exit 4, where you’ll meet your friendly German-speaking instructor. Your journey starts with a short cultural visit to the Ganesha Shrine, followed by a guided exploration of the Huai Khwang Market, famous for its colourful stalls of herbs, spices, and tropical produce — the foundation of authentic Thai cuisine.

After the market, travel by local transport or tuk-tuk to our cosy Uncle & Aunty House cooking studio, where you’ll be welcomed with smiles and herbal tea. Before cooking begins, learn to make coconut milk and curry paste from scratch, using traditional Thai tools like the mortar and pestle.

In a small group of no more than six participants, you’ll prepare four to five classic Thai dishes together — typically including a curry, a stir-fry, a soup or salad, and a dessert. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available.
