You'll step into one of Mongolia’s most iconic and awe-inspiring destinations — a place where history, legend, and sweeping steppe landscapes come together. From the horse’s head viewing platform, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Mongolia’s vast grasslands — an uninterrupted horizon that feels timeless and powerful. Explore the museum in the base of the statue. Eagle Holding (Optional) Meet a local eagle handler and hold a magnificent golden eagle on your arm — a unique photo opportunity inspired by Mongolia’s ancient hunting tradition. It’s a memorable way to connect with the country’s nomadic heritage. Camel Riding (Optional) Take a short camel ride around the open steppe surrounding the complex. This gentle activity is suitable for beginners and offers a fun, traditional experience. Participation in these activities is completely optional, and any additional charges must be paid directly to the provider.

Perched on a hillside, the temple offers sweeping views of forested valleys, rock formations, and rolling steppe landscapes — especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset. The temple features traditional Tibetan-style design, colourful prayer wheels, and symbolic carvings representing Buddhist teachings about mindfulness and compassion. The walking path leading up to the temple includes 108 stone tablets engraved with Buddhist mantras and teachings, representing purification and spiritual reflection.

You’ll visit Turtle Rock - one of the most famous natural landmarks inside Gorkhi-Terelj National Park surrounded by Mongolia’s breathtaking steppe and alpine scenery. Known locally as Melkhii Khad, it has been sculpted by wind and water over thousands of years.
