The adventure will include a walking city tour around Angra do HeroĆsmo, a UNESCO site, where you will be able to visit the Municipal Theatre, the local Town Hall, and the Municipal Garden. Walking through the beautiful and colourful streets of the city, you will have the chance to visit some churches and a cathedral. Some free time will be accommodated for shopping and lunch in the city. The tour continues going to the top of Monte Brasil, which is the best viewpoint over Angra do HeroĆsmo, before following through the west side of the island. Some sightseeing will be done in between the towns of SĆ£o Mateus and Cinco Ribeiras,
where eventually a small cheese factory will be visited for some cheese tasting. Follow along to the centre of the island where you will be able to visit a lake called āLagoa das Patasā, before going to the north of the island to visit the stunning natural pools of the town of Biscoitos.
On another day, visit the east side of the island by going through the towns of Ribeirinha and Porto Judeu, along which you will be able to spot the beautiful āGoat Isletsā, a set of volcanic rocks set aside from the main land mass. Reach the historically important bay of Salga and continue to the town of Porto Martins, before returning to the town of SĆ£o SebastiĆ£o, where you can experience the oldest church of the entire island. Depending on the weather conditions of the day, reach to the top of Serra do Cume, a stunning viewpoint over the massive amount of farm land the island processes. Visit the second city of the island called
Praia da Vitória, where you will be able to see an amazing overlook over the beach area called Serra do Facho, before having some free time for shopping and lunch. Throughout the afternoon, visit a beautiful fumarole complex to the centre of the island called Furnas do Enxofre and, depending on the seasonal schedule or availability, visit Algar do Carvão and Gruta do Natal.
