What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure with a comfortable pickup from your hotel or selected meeting points in the south of Tenerife. Travel into Teide National Park in a small minivan with a maximum of 8 passengers, and a maximum of 2 minivans for a more personal and relaxed experience.

During the journey, your guide will share fascinating stories about the volcanic landscape, the island’s history, and why this location is one of the world’s best for astronomy.

Stop at one of the park’s most impressive areas, where the landscape feels almost like another planet. This extraordinary scenery has been used as a filming location for several science-fiction films and series, including scenes from Star Wars. Here, enjoy a delicious snack pack as you relax and take in the surroundings, and, if you wish, go for a short hike to explore the unique volcanic terrain up close.

Next, watch a breathtaking sunset above the clouds from a spectacular viewpoint. Some of these locations are only accessible with smaller vehicles like your minivan, giving you exclusive access that larger buses cannot reach.

As night falls, experience the true magic of Teide. Admire the star-filled sky in a peaceful, unique environment while your guide uses a laser pointer to show constellations and explain their mythology and scientific significance.

Observe planets, star clusters, galaxies, and other deep-sky objects through professional telescopes. Learn how to recognise important constellations and discover how ancient civilisations used the stars for navigation.

During the experience, your guide will show you how to set up your smartphone for stunning astrophotography. You will also use a special telescope designed for professional astrophotography and receive a high-quality photo as a souvenir of the unforgettable night sky above Teide National Park.

This small-group tour is perfect for anyone who wants to combine Teide National Park exploration, a sunset above the clouds, and stargazing into one unforgettable experience.
