Combine the two great natural contrasts of Tenerife in a single day: the altitude of the volcano and the Atlantic Ocean.
The excursion begins with a pick-up from the guest's hotel, whether in the north or south, and the ascent to the World Heritage Site of Teide National Park. During the road trip, you'll make stops at the most important vantage points to observe the rivers of solidified lava, the rock formations, and the peak of the highest volcano in Spain. Your tour guide will tell you about the island's geological history and the area's endemic flora.
Next, you will begin the descent through the landscapes of the western slope until you reach the Los Gigantes cruise port. There, you'll board a sailboat for the second part of the adventure. You'll sail along the coast with direct views of the immense volcanic rock cliffs, which reach up to 600 metres above sea level.
During the sailboat trip, you'll enter a privileged area for observing marine wildlife. In keeping with animal welfare regulations, we'll look for pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. After the sailing and observation time, the sailboat will return to the cruise port to start the transport back to your point of origin.
